Re: relocation files

It's getting somewhat unclear as to what you want to achieve. Is it a one time action to go from PC to mac or do want to sync more often.

Given the description the hdd is usb connected I assume.

I just tried to provide a suggestion try some. The link of discopex is just one way to get a fixed drive letter. There are more which also include network mapping.

But likely a response of someone with experience in going from PC to mac might give a better chance.

Lucky you.
One thing that I can think of is to save the MAC collection into a new file, using 'save as' in Cross.
Maybe something 'invisible' changes into MAC-mode and it works just like in Windows.

No MAC user complaint in the last months that relocation of multiple tracks didn't work no more, so I guess it has to do with the exchange between the OS's.

i think there is a trick...
if i copy all tracks to the root of new HDD/SDD, it will find those..
but in my occasion tracks are in separate folders... like 80's, 90's and so.. and that's why Mac can't find my tracks... that is stupid thing..
i feel like Mac is... don't wanna say this word..

did some quick lookups, got some results of <= 2011. Seems like not all file systems are (native) supported by MAC.

DId not check further, but think your disk is NTFS... if so google on it as this is (was) read only by MAC....

i don't give up easy :D
it's not Cross fault!!!
maybe there is another solution, but...
when i open my external disk in Mac, i can se all the files... going to target folder, where is songs, all are there. So far so good.
but when i type on search even random letter, let say "a", witch is pretty common letter, Mac can't see anything, no files (it can see files on MAC, but not in that folder where i am and just saw files)
now i'm getting somewhere... can someone help me with that?
why all files are suddenly gone? and i guess thats why Cross can't relocate files...
