Just sharing a little. Here is a customized version of the map for DJ-SX. I included a spreadsheet that highlights in orange what I changed and in blu the addresses that are still free. Try it if you are so inclined and I welcome any questions about it. DDJSX32C.zip

Hi FigDJ Just downloaded your mapper, still getting use to the mapper.... What is different, looked at the excel sheet but at moment its like looking at a foreign language. One thing I would like to see in a SX mapper which I have just posted in the mapper forum is the ability to use the Beats rotary knob for selecting effects, in that way you are not having to hold down shift and the FX select button and you can just scroll though until you get to the one you want. Maybe even go further by clicking down to select it.... Only a suggestion as I am no expert... Regards John.

I can certainly map that, however, you would loose some commands forthe titler. Mapping the FX select on both sides to the rotary and the push button to activate will delete the following commands TitlerImagePresetIndex EnableTitlerImage TitlerTextPresetIndex EnableTitlerText if you are willing to do away with those i can do that real quick. Also notice that by using Shift + Sampler a group of 8 Fxs are enable to be activated by using the pads. The effects are listed on the big table at the end.

Hi FigDJ I can live with that - I suppose I could have the new map with the rotary effects for audio and keep the orig mapping for the titler for video stuff.... I just find it way too strange to hold shift and then search for a FX. I know its not your map and is the default but far easier to turn a knob and scroll through them and select instead of button tapping... John

See if this works. I can't test it right now because I am not at home. Basically I swaped the commands around Beats rotary= FX1 select (on the left side), FX2 Select (on the right side) Beats push= FX1 on/off (on the left side), FX2 on/off (on the right side) Shift + Pushbuton #1 (the one on the left) = TitlerImagePresetIndex (on the left), TitlerTextPresetIndex (on the right side) Pushbutton #1 = EnableTitlerImage (on the left side), EnableTitlerText (on the right side) DDJSX32C2.zip

Hi FigDJ
Superb!!! Works great, now that is way more logical and your fingers don't get in the way when turning a effect on and off and trying to alter its attack with the rotary above and also not having to hold shift is great....
Thank you...
I'm using a lot this weekend so ill keep my thoughts written down to see if there are any other ideas that maybe you will agree with...
Cheers John

i am glad it is working for you and thank you from the suggestion. my original map I tried to not deviate too much from the Mixvibes provided map just add aditional functionality. However, I went back and incorporated your suggestions in my own rig and and you are quite right. it is much easier to use he FX now. Even if I have designated pads for it if you want to use the scroll function your suggested way is better. It is just like in the UMCP-2. Once again thanks.
