And than it is not even embedded in a quality controlled software development project. ..

Having the controller at hand can make a world of difference because coding and testing can be done much faster.

With the DDJ-SB, while similar to the DDJ-SX, I still had to read the manual an get the MIDI tables to ensure a good mapping. Not having the controller meant that i had to do all the coding by hand (just about 20,000 lines of code). Then there was also the testing, I relied on djsamrties and Mike Fosatti (Mike sorry if I mispelled your last name) who where very responsive and provided valuable feedback to guide me.

As far as Rojec comment on software development, Software development is what I do in my day job. However, i am just one DJ trying to help other DJs so I don't have the resources for professional quality control as I do at work.

Just my 2 cents.

Your remark makes it seem to me you felt a negative vibe in my remark...
Just tried to add a remark on how MixVibes develops the software and that this takes time to do to.
Your working/hobby method clearly shows quality control, just by the steps you take from scratch to a clean final product.
And you're a developer that is good in communicating with the end user...
So nothing but respect for your efforts...
And one of my consultancy companies is "Quality Management in Control" ....

DN-MC6000 MK2(Denon)(2).mappings
Went to see a mate yesterday, as got so fed of having to use Virtual and its awful sound engine, that I drove 250 miles , and he has produced a mapping file for us who have the 6000 mk2, it works fine for me , and hopefully will do until we get a proper one.

So now Im happily using Mixvibes again

I say brilliant. Excellent action.

Currently like that Simply Red tune (money's too tight to mention).

A situation I hope will be remedied come July. I will just go ahead and get the mk2 then.

You should save the file in the MIDI folder

in w8 this is. likely you have something like this in iOS
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MixVibes\Controllers\MIDI\

after that start Cross with the device connected.
