Which Mixer?

Hey everybody,
I'm planing on buying two Denon SC2900 and a mixer because I want to start using DVS with my Audio-Technica turntable (until now I had a Pioneer DDJ-SX). I'm really interested in the new Cross DVS v.3 software because of its vdj features and its capability of reading timecodes on every soundcard.

The features the mixer should have:
- 4 channels
- possibility to use it with or without Mac
- a soundcard which supports my turntable and the two mediaplayers
- a few effects with Bpm sync
- some color FX (at least a 'Filter')
- a Mic input
- crossfader curve adjustment
- MIDI mapping possibility (if I want to use it with another software)
- possibility to record my mix directly on the computer or on a USB
-> my budget: 900-1000 euros

A Denon x1600 or a djm 800

+1 on the X1600. Hope you are in Europe as the price on the 2900s has just gone down dramatically. Something like 399 GBP or so a piece.

If there ever was a time to buy the SC2900, this would be it.

I already have two with the X1600 and it's a dynamite combination. What it has on the DJM900 (the 800 is end-of-life) is that you get 4 knobs and 4 buttons with 4 layers of midi-mappable joy (you can easily map your sample decks for example, including volume controls) and you can switch each individual channel to MIDI, making almost all controls also midi-mappable. The implementation of it is great too. If you change a knob while in MIDI and return to channel strip, it will indicate which knobs have to go back to their starting position.

Traktor-certified soundcard (not very important for Cross, but hey, it's there). You can set DVS functionality in the menu for each channel you want to use. FX are good too. The only thing I miss is dedicated filter knobs per channel, but you can fix that with the midi-mapping knobs. Or you can assign the filter effect really simple to a channel.

Yep, definitely +1 for the X1600. It also looks better than those nice Denon players with an orphan Pioneer mixer :-).

I believe an Allen & Heath DB2 would also meet the requirements.
