understand your frustration ,, never once tried to deny support ,, part of me not feeling bad giving a responce that you are s t out of luck is the fact to try to get all visitors to regerster the key ,, mainly for the benifits ,, you never posted just joined the fourm ,, not a benfactor of my constant plea ,, so this time i do feel bad telling you you have no recourse ,,,, , doesnt change the fact that i or any body can help with the lost key ,, if the cd image did get on line the the regerstration will help as smlvmv said ,, and possibly under circumanstances ,, leeway might have been given , so ,, no offence taken and hopefully it can be solved , and

please regerster your software licence key on the fourm
when you do find it



try the free version of Cross ,, might be incentive to purches the software ,, if you like DVS then this software will be enjoyable also , probly cheaper than your original purches and has more functionality ,

Apart from the tone, which got a bit heated, I think it's actually not a bad idea to have an iso download for timecode CD's. I doubt your business model is based on selling loads of timecode CDs :-)

If he currently has a working version of Cross, which he had to enter the serial number into to activate, is there no way to get the serial number from the software? Like at the info/about screen?

The iso image has been discussed on the fourm for a little while ,,no resolution has come about yet ,, agree about the thought process of not being a critical profit maker ,,
the issue with the serial # ,, if its is/would be stored with the software then if a system crashed ,, that would be lost also ,,
part of a problems solution is understanding the responcibility of what you can do to solve it ,, no software I have purched ,ever has been misplaced ,, realizing that the key is realy the ownership of the software ,, anything associated with its possion ,ie bar codes on packinging was saved ,, to not lose ability to re use the software but that's just me ,, in my opion its safer to be able to retrieve it from the fourm ,, that's why the first posting out of my little typing fingers is to
