Hi, Welcome.

The drivers for the hardware likely are available at the website of the manufacturer.
The Cross software talks to the audio and MIDI driver of device. It usually is bundled by a manufacturer or a reseller. We'll get you working, but don't always know all details of the hardware... 100s of types around.

If your device has a soundcard build in, select the right driver in Preferences Audio, next select the simple or dual stereo. The latter if your headphone can be connected to your controller.

If your controller does not have a soundcard you can select simple stereo or split mono. You then use the output of your laptop/PC. It is depending on the soundcard properties if multiple channels can be used. If not, consider purchase an USB soundcard for cueing a soundacrd from 5-10$ exists. You can combine soundcards into a virtual soundcard by installing ASIO4ALL driver (free download; the beta 2 is good). Select in Cross and then via the control button select 2 soundcards you need. (you need to ckick a button at the rbottom right of asio4all to be allowed to select multiple cards/channels)

Please give it a try and let's know if your missing a point or get stuck. As requested please add a capture of your audio when stuck. Really helps us to narrow down your issue without having to go back and forth.
Ronald

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Factory settings don't exist. There is no default; always depending on hardware used.

Does your controller have multiple stereo outputs (master and cue)?
If so, did you setup the routing for both outputs and did you select dual stereo.
If dual stereo you'll have 2 addiotional knobfaders at right top.
1 for Cue volume and one for cue/master mixing.
Click a headphone button in the Cross mixer section to send audio to cue.

Please attach a screen image of your audio setup.
