anyone using the NOVATION DICER with mixvibes

My Cross Pack came with two installation discs, 3.1 and 1.6.1... i used 3.1 and everytime i would want to make mixes i would sync the bpm. it would sync but everytime i would scratch, the track wouldnt rewind so everytime i go to rewind it would just pause insted

Sorry I don't understand.
3.1 has been released a few days ago, it can't be on a Cross Pack disc.
Please check the exact version.
By the way, 1.6.1 is really old, you should definitely update to the latest one, 3.1.

Might it be the MIDI mapping you used is not right.
menu: Preferences | MIDI
Select your device (if possible), or make/copy(=x2) a mapping and set the mapping right for the 'wrong' mapped controls.

Understandable you prefer using a working version, but 1.6 is over 3 years old;

sorry my bad it was 2.0 and 1.6 on disc then i updated to 3.1... the only issue i am having with 3.1 is the sync. everytime i want to make a mix and sync the bpm it just wont sync properly

Are your tracks Analyzed before you try to sync them?
If double/half, click the pencil in the deck when hovering and change.

Are you aware of the Quant and Snap feature. These help to sync; please read the manual for the details on how. Usually it helps when eneabled; unless you want other behavior.
Also important to follow which deck is the master.

basically all i want is to be able to sync my tracks together once i press the sync button on the software like all the other software out there. it seems like with any other software its as simple as pressing sync and thats it but with mixvibes it wont allow me to

What you want is how it works . Play in deck A, Load in deck B, click Sync at B and it will play by same BPM-speed split second.....
Split second depending on the settings mentioned to start in the right beat cycle-moment.

Do you have the problem when using sync button in screen, or sync button at controller.
