Headphone/Cue issues.

Postby justinnicholas32 on 06 Apr 2014, 10:10

Hi guys, big hello to all on the forum.

I just purchased the software yesterday, and I am seriously impressed by it.

It's nice to use something which has my Mixtrack Pro 2 fully mapped already.

Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this query

I am struggling with the set up part of the process.

My current set up is -

Laptop
ASIO 4 ALL
Numark Mixtrack Pro 2
Alesis 320 usb Monitors

The latter 2 both have built in audio interfaces, but I'm still struggling with the setup.

I'm trying to route Mixtrack 1 and 2 to the main panel and 3 and 4 to the other.

Strangley though, I can only do 1 and 3 and 2 and 4.

Anyone have any solutions for this problem please?

Many thanks for your time :)

Adding to this,

I can now hear it in my headphones, but it still isn't functioning normally.

Hi Daniel,

I can only get the sound coming through my mixer, or the headphones.

Just not at the same time.

Do you have both intended outputs activated in thr Asio settings.

What happens when you select the wdm sound channel for the mix track.

Did you select dual stereo. This also opens the cie volume and mix/cue knobfader next to the master volume.

At the moment I can only select one or the other in the Asio 4 All which is puzzling.

Thanks for your reply :)

Strangely after a bit of unknown tinkering it seems to be working fine.

Thanks for all input

Back to square one again

Has been working fine up until today and it's back to my previous problem.

It's running in Dual Stereo mode http://i59.tinypic.com/wqv8g2.jpg

Both ASIO 4 All points are displaying as active and working.

The main output Mixtrack Pro 2 1 is either in my headphones or speakers, and it seems the other options aren't functioning.

Everything seems ok with the device in the control panel to.

Any info' would be gratefully appreciated

 look at you settings at the top the cue mix is down and your mix level is centered ,,meaning the cue volume is down ,(output 2) and you are listening to both mix and monitor
try that and see ,,
