Cross 2.6 with DDJ-SX

Postby Jimbosyourman on 02 Jan 2014, 22:44

Hi I've now performed three sets over Christmas with the DDJ-SX using Cross DJ. It works very well the only real downer is the software doesn't support the 'slice' feature and a couple effects which i don't use anyway . Using windows 8 . It proved very stable indeed. I love my little U-Mix Control Pro and it does most of what the Pioneer unit can but the Pioneer really looks the part.
Thinking about buying the Pioneer? Will it make you DJ any better? No! Will you look the part? Absolutely. Pioneer can put serato where the sun don't shine I'm sticking with Cross, it's the best , I also have Traktor Scratch (poor 3rd place).
Of course everything I've said is purely subjective.
