4 trak traktor user considering mixvibes...has questions

Postby drjust on 26 Dec 2013, 22:58

its been a long time since i checked out mixvibes......i see there have been improvements

Ive been using traktor and I considering trying out Cross DJ and the video plug in since i want to do music video mixing....but i dont really want to get rid of the Numark 4 trak I currently have.....and im not a big fan of serato...so im looking for options

I have a bunch of questions......

a) is there one to one auto mapping available for the 4trak

b) on the full version of Cross DJ...are the effects post fader....ie do the effects fade out after the music is stopped or the channel or fader is turned off.....or do the effects end when the music is stopped or the channel is cut......for the demo....the latter is the case...ie no decay when the channel is changed or deck stopped...everything is abruptly cutt....I DO NOT LIKE THIS and this should be changed to provide proper effects.

c) is there a demo of the video plug in.....I want to see what Im dealing with before I decide to buy it

d) is there 1 to 1 mapping existing or in progress for the ns7II.....

e) is there a customer service number so I can be talked thru issues if i decide to buy the mix vibes package?

f) are there you tube videos that go into more indepth coverage of the softwear...so far Ive only been able to find very short video clips

 try to hit what points i can ,,too give a little bit more info
 there are a bunch of fomer tractor users ,that enjoy Cross and Cross DJ
 in r c versions right now the Cross software has video capabilities ,, so the lower price of Cross DJ ,plus the price of the vid plug in ,, might be less expensive :?:
 the effects section can be switchable either to each deck or to the master out ,,which lends to more possibilities
also the effects has been under scrunity and scheudualed for inprovements ,,when :?: when it happens ,,
 as for a 1 800 #,,to my knowledge this is it ,,100% of the mixvibes staff including the founder of the company tends to this fourm and all of its aspects.. the user base knowledge supports it with info that is 99 % correct and 24/7
 as far as the mappings ,, the esae of MIDI mappings is supported by the software MIDI learn feature ,,what mapping are in the MIDI files are updated to ever version ,, new mapping for new controllers are controled by the avaibility of the controller and the constraints of the staff,
we have a section dedicated for MIDI mapping teck support and also setting up your own mappings
as for the controllers mentioned ,,not shure to say ,, will leave that up to more informed indiviauls
one of the best way to see if you will like mixvibes is the software ,, another resource is the fourm and how it responds to you help /needs
lastly welcome to mixvibes ,,

We want to welcome new users who discover CrossDJ for Mac through Apple Appstore.
We can't with the Appstore rules deliver you directly a full Mixvibes licence like we do with other shops.
But if you want to submit it you can.
How to do it:
-Register on the forum with the same mail than on the appstore
-Forward the appstore bill you received to: djcommunity@mixvibes.com
By return you will receive a full Mixvibes CrossDJ license for Mac & PC and the full support of the forums.

WARNING: This offer is only for Mac users and doesn't concern CrossDJ on iOS for iPad
