ok... it looks like you took my advice on output the sampler in Cross to outputs 5 and 6 on you sound card to get it to work

that's good...off to a good start now

now to try to get your time code vinyl right...
some things to check in you time code vinyl setup

1]...are you grounding your turntables to the sound card or to your mixer...????

2]...do you have the sound card set to phono { on the front off the u46 DJ ..there are little switchs with phono and line }...

3]...in Cross do you have it set to vinyl in the sound card setup page...????

4]....in Cross do you have the master tempo/key lock turned off
[ time code vinyl don't work good with the master tempo / key lock on ]

5]....what vinyl mode are you in ...absolute time code or all relative

6]....when you output the RCA cables from the sound card to your mixer /have you pluged into the line input or the phonos inputs on you mixer ....do you have the mixer set to line input or phono inputs....on your mixer ,you must be pluged and set to the line inputs ..not phono

Wazza. thanks for getting back.

I used 5/6. However my sound is low. If I could have your email (private message it to me). I want to send you a screen shop of my 2.6. I just does not look correct based on the manual. Also the sound of my sample bank is low. and the mixvibe setting is all the way up.

The sound care is set to line. Everything is set to line. the mixer, the soundcard also.

I don't think mine is installed right and I don't know how to imbed a screen shot in this message.

1]...are you grounding your turntables to the sound card or to your mixer...????
The Audio Technica Tables I'm using has a built in ground.

2]...do you have the sound card set to phono { on the front off the u46 DJ ..there are little switchs with phono and line }...
everything is set to Line

3]...in Cross do you have it set to vinyl in the sound card setup page...????
I'll let you know, once I install the drivers.

4]....in Cross do you have the master tempo/key lock turned off
[ time code vinyl don't work good with the master tempo / key lock on ]
Where is this?

5]....what vinyl mode are you in ...absolute time code or all relative
Which one should I be in?

6]....when you output the RCA cables from the sound card to your mixer /have you pluged into the line input or the phonos inputs on you mixer ....do you have the mixer set to line input or phono inputs....on your mixer ,you must be pluged and set to the line inputs ..not phono
Number 6 is probably the only thing that is correct.

I guess I have to use the installation cd for the older verson. My sound card is not showing. The updates are all showing up for direct sound.

Daniel all honesty...that manually is geared toward MIDI users. It does not help.
