Sampler loading preset

Postby FigDJ on 04 Nov 2013, 00:34

So we have a long button that allows to scroll the sample banks and then load the sampler.

I would like to see 5 buttons.
#1-4

Load a previously selected sample bank without having to scroll the sample banks.
#5 will do the same thing as the current function of either load a hot sampler bank or scrolling the sample banks to select and load.

That way you can have 4 sample banks pre-selected to load on each side at the press of a button or GUI click and if you want to access more sample banks then use the 5th button to drop down the selection menu and load.

Mentioned something similar in the past, could do with having a top 20 favourites list on each sampler C & D although you can still scroll through the whole sampler list on each side you could still have a top 20 etc. per C & D.

So you could just check a C or D option to select your favourites in the sample bank browser itself for them then to show up as your one of your top 20 at the top of your sample bank list.
Is one idea that would help a little, then maybe it could be elaborated on and you could also save and name your top 20 as a preset so you can easy access what you want depending on your needs and the set or genre you may be doing.

you could maybe then use MIDI commands 1-4 etc to select your favourites, although you would still need another option to add your top 4 etc favourite presets to this list of 1-4 obviously we would need another browser section based around/near to the sample banks them self for our favourite - favourites if you get what I mean, obviously you can come up with better names to call these lol.
