Would luv to see a "cut" transition for the video plug-in - not just crossfades and variations of crossfades.
Also, would be great if there was a way (perhaps there is?) to MIDI map transitions for single button execution?
Love the Video plug-in, and it will be great when we can again use a titler, LOGO or image overlays and maybe even flash?! Loved all those extras in Vfx!
Seriously considering of getting the plugin as it's on sale! So far I've only used TouchViz on an iPad for simple videoloops and stuff (and it's been pretty nice and straightforward since I only have 2 hands!). There's not too many videos or discussion on the video plugin to be found, was just wondering if anyone has experiences over several apps and could perhaps point out any differences between the plugin and a dedicated handy VJ app.
Well the plug in integrates seamlessly with Mixvibes Cross... it allows you to mix music videos the same way you mix music (beat matching, harmonic matching, etc) Us end users are hopeful for more tweaks and treats in the next version of the plugin, allowing for text scrolling/overlays, the ability to add images and logos as overlays, flash effects, etc.
I am hoping for something slightly more advance like the ability to MIDI map transitions to buttons, VS faders/knobs, for simple, single press activation (much like a traditional video mixer would have).
Coming from a television background, some of the most intuitive features seem to be missing still, but may be coming in the future...
When devs and team members say "good stuff coming", it makes me smile.
Just suffice it to say that DJRicoche will be slightly impressed with the next release Some might say I'm clairvoyant, others say that MixVibes is just that good.
P_Jean - I don't dislike you, and I am sure you and the other devs are working hard to give us what we would like, or in some cases need. We just didn't agree on the last situation, and after some digging, I found out that the firmware was available, and ready to make a useful mapping. To me this is something the support team should know.
