I want a+b vinyl mode only and c+d controlled using the controller.
I am using the internal sound card of the UMCP2 set to phono mode.
At the moment I am using 2 deck view and manually switching to Vinyl mode in the mix. It gets confusing when im doing quick mixes and its not ideal for me.
To put it simply.....
If you took the vanilla 2 deck mapping and cloned it onto decks C+D, then removed ALL the mappings from A+B except the faders / kills / eq's, that would be the result I am looking for.
So decks A+C share left upfader, kills, eq's, trim, gain, headphone cue
So decks B+D share right upfader, kills, eq's, trim, gain, headphone cue
A + C cannot control ANYTHING except the upfaders, kills, eq's, trim, gain, headphone cue

Just re stating to make sure I understand. Deck A is a turntable hooked into the line in using phono mode. The only controls in the UMCP2 are gain, eq, eq kills, and upfader. Deck B same as A but in the right side. Decks C and D are fully controllable by the UMCP2 except that you don't have any use for the samplers. I assume that you want 8 cue points. When the mixer controls in the left side are moved, you want those controls (gain, eq, eq kills, upfader and cue monitor to be chained so they control A and C at the same time. Also I gather that you do not mix any video. Please confirm, if so I think I can wip out something for you to try by this afternoon.

Except, I would like Headphone CUE to be shared between left and right sides too.
Appreciate the help...

This is what I think you want press cue on the left and you hear A and C press cue on the right and you hear B and D. Is that correct?

Alright this is a very peculiar set up. I still think that you are better off using the map provided by Mixvibes and switching input for channels A and B to line input when using your turntables in order to save screen real state. Perhaps a suggestion to Mixvibes would be 1. to allow the line input to be routed to deck C and D. 2. to have the flexibility as to choose which 2 decks will show A and B or C and when in 2 deck mode. Anyway attached is the map that I came up with. I haven't fully tested but give it a try and let me know how it goes.
