simple trigger on/trigger off software

Postby RageRat on 01 Sep 2013, 15:59

Hello all. Wondering if anyone knows of a program that I can use to underlay bass tones to existing songs. Only software I can find is of the trigger on type (where the sound goes till it ends) I want to be able trigger on a tone, then trigger it off when switching to a different tone without having to try to use Audigy to create timed samples (i.e. 1 sec., 2 sec., 3 sec. etc), the tones are for testing speaker systems and go for about a minute each.

LoL, I sure did, lots of maybe's, even bought Dubturbo cause it seemed to fit the bill, but alas was only another trigger on setup. Downloaded the free version of CrossDJ while sitting in Wisconson(I'm a truck driver) and in 20 min. have started doing nice lil mixes in my truck on laptop. If it actually will work with my Typhoon and Pad-One I'll be buying when I get home to test em out. Like what I've seen on YouTube about the sampler playback as long as I can get it mapped to the Pad-One it'll work like I want.

 fourm restrictions to prevent wide spread spaming ,, glad you like the free software ,, not shure if your controller is mapped ,, but options are there ,,,,use the gen chat area for concerns till you get a Cross licence key ,,remember to regerster it on the fourm to safely secure it from loss or misplacement ,,,,did you get any sound production software with your sound blaster sc ,, not shure if you could make the work , :?: have you checked the web for sound level/tone generators ,, all you need if the sound file   oh yeah welcome to mixvibes fourm ,

Got Tractor LE with the typhoon, but bought off Ebay so trying to get back with seller to get in touch with Native Instruments to release the software liscence has got me nowhere.Tried getting a few freebies to work, but always problems and rarely any support/forum. Typhoon is showing in the official mapping dwnload area, and it seems to be pretty easy to map according to the user manual.

 good time to realise that the key is the heart of the software ,, good luck with that endevor,, if there is a avaible mapping listed you should be good to go,, as for MIDI mapping pretty stright foward and availble help to resolve any issues ,you run across,, plus a couple of user made utilities that might aid in the efforts ,,

so you want to trigger bass tones...like a test tone

if you are using the same bass tone ...but changing the kay

you can use Mixvibes 2.5 mix in harmony ..and the Cross sampler..to do this...
