General look and feel

Postby jsr7096 on 27 Aug 2013, 22:11

Some of this has been mentioned before, but as 'minor' * features I'd be really happy to see them in 2.7 :)

1. Current clock display seems to be h:mm format. Please put it back to HH:MM:SS like I'm sure it used to be in an earlier version.

2. The letters A, B in the player info lights up when that player is active. Love that. Please can you make the font size generally bigger though so it's easier to see?

3. We can currently choose between time elapsed and time remaining in the player info area. Please can we have both displayed? There is space and would look ok.

4. Where the track title and artist is displayed in the player info, please allow a right-click mouse action with a menu like we have on tracks in the collection view. To allow us to choose to add a playing track to a playlist etc

(I've only just realised through testing that I can drag the track elsewhere from the player window but the whole menu would be more feature rich)

* minor = hopefully a case of minor tweaks of existing code without much risk of breaking things. Hoping!

-1 from here, absolutely liking the current implementation A LOT!
Less info (=clutter) on screen, the better. I might understand the need for more timing info for radio jockeys but for club DJs the less distraction the better. I want to focuse 100% on the music.
In fact I would like the GUI to be more simple than now (for example the pitch styles MT/SPEED/HYBRID info could exist inside the settings menu).

But your mileage might vary.

You think that there is space, but this is not the case.
Good suggestion, but not important. ;)

Well no, but if you pass the mouse over the key in the player, you will see that there are commands to change the key. ;)

so , no place for a second "Time".
