How do you setup so that iTunes works independently of Cross

Hi,is there a way of setting up your hardware so that you can use Cross with the U-Mix Control Pro, and then stop and use the normal iTunes to play music or access the store without having to re-wire? Currently for mixing I have the basic set up, as attached. But if I want to just use iTunes independently of Cross I have to re-wire my system (unplug the U-Mix controller, and plug in the phono leads from the output on my base unit in to my amp). If I open my iTunes while the controller is still plugged in, iTunes just crashes. HELP!

Can nobody answer this? There must be a way to use Cross to mix, and then just use iTunes normally (access the store etc) without having to unplug your set up... no? Team Mixvibes?
