How to add in a new song just after downloading it(solved)

Hi All,

I have a issue here, I have just downloaded a new song while the Mixvibes software is running live in the club.

I was wondering how do i add in this new downloaded song into the Mixvibes software while it is currently running live.

I have tried dragging in but in vain.

The only way I manage to insert in the song to Mixvibes is only when i put the song in the folder and I have to restart the Mixvibes software.

Can someone advise me on this?

at the top of the software in reg veiw and a drop down in full view (ver 2.5)there is a tab to inport file ,allows a window to open to inport the file :cool:

if you are talking about i tunes ,,not shure if its the same , dont use i tunes :cool:

I am currently using 2.4.0 version and I downloaded the song online, not from iTunes.

upper left hand side ,,first drop down ,,inport file will open up a browser to select the file ,, find it and open ,,it will put it in the collection,,just have to anylise it before you play it ,,,

:idea:

version 2.5 is out ,, no rush ,get comfortable with 2.4 :eek:

right click on the track in the collection and a tab will appear for selection of anylising click on your selection and it will anylise the track for what parmeters you have selected :cool:

start playing around with the software to see what it can do ,, :!:

I did see a button named, Analyze but i try clicking on it a few times but nothing seems to work.

if you click on anylise ther should be a selection tab to the right giving what choices you have ,,click on your choice and it should anylise the track :cool:

if you have a un anylised track just imported ,and lets say you sort the collection by bpm, then it will be the top track in the selection , when you go through the proccess to anylise it ,you will see the anylise going on in the track by a little bar giving percent of completion , then it will sort the file by the bpm because that is how you have selected the collection to be sorted at that time , :cool:
