I own a Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro-2. I found this to be a very well made and capable controller and have mapped to control all 4 decks and use 8 locators and sample pads.
I now there are many capable controllers out there that are easily mapable to Cross DJ/Cross, however I wonder if Mixvibes has plans to release a 4 deck/ 10 channel controller of their own that would be updated to the software capabilities, including pads and deck switch for controlling and or switching to sample banks.
Another option (and from what I heard in this forum before it is coming) would be to implement conditional output mapping so in a set condition the output to LEDs in the UMCP-2 would correctly provide feedback base on a condition that switches controls from deck A to C and B to D.
In order for this to work, hardware take over between decks for the pitch faders would have to be implemented in order not to have a jump in pitch when switching and operating the pitch faders from one deck to the other.
in agreement since the software is on the brink of making the hardware ineffectual
