64 bit version, any plans

Postby Activated Soundwave on 14 Jun 2013, 10:43

As the title say:
64 bit, any plans?

I think its about time we are able to utilize more memory, as some of us also run other stuff, for example when streaming/broadcasting,also on the chat rooms and other pages, and also recording to these other formats as we have no MP3 recording, So it can pay its toll on a laptop ram after about an hour to an hour & half recording,Cross starts to struggle and just impossibly stutters.
This is before i even contemplate having a full house: of sample banks playing in Cross and maybe multiple controllers, so just seem like 64bit Cross is well over due, so we can have a little bit more confidence in the RAM department.

I do not use video at present so in my experience I only refer to mixing audio

Your issues/requests have really nothing to see with 64bits...
However we're on it, as it'd more comfortable for video plugin usage.

Sensible suggestion now that most of us have 64 bit operating systems.

Summer is here! Only 4 things we need - cold beer, hot ladies, loud music, and more cold beer!

I am hoping to find time to upgrade and use video some time this year myself, so if 64bit helps with that, then cool, thanks.
