Yes they are, but both programs are very similar. The only difference is that, Cross has HID and Timecode support, CrossDJ hasn't.

Basically you can control the software using your CDJ 2000's, thanks to HID.

Awwww, that looks pretty slick. Thank you for the video and information. Would I have to get rid of my $2,000 (USD) mixer since the software appears to act as a mixer?

Aside from having to carry a laptop with me to every gig I do like the layout of the software.
