Hi,
I wasn't able to post in the technical support forum, because I don't have a serial number, so I'm trying here.
I downloaded the free version of Cross DJ from the app store, because I was looking to find a program to use with my MIDI controller (XDJ Aero). The main draw of MixVibes for me is the ability to use the same library as I do for CDJs.
However, when I imported my Rekordbox library, the program still needs to analyze every track before playing them. I thought that all the beatgrid information was taken from Rekordbox! And although it does successfully transfer my hot cues, the hot cues are off. They are not at their exact locations and many of the beat grids are not how I set them.
Is this different from the payed version of Cross DJ? Also, is there any way to obtain a demo to try out the MIDI functionality of Cross DJ with my Aero?
Thanks,
Dave

You need, in Rekordbox, to specify that you want to export you beatgrid info.
If there is no such information, Cross re-analyze your imported tracks, that's why the beatgrid is different

Hmmm, no sorry, at first I thought your solution had worked, because now there are beatgrids, but the beatgrids are completely off: they're all offset and don't even fall on the beats anymore :/
Any other ideas?

Hey thanks for following up.
The analyzed grids in Cross are generally okay. I have to make the same minor adjustments that I'd have to make on a track analyzed in rekordbox.
The imported beatgrids are the problem. They're all off by the same amount. I guess Cross is using a different time as the starting point? Before I had turned on the export beatgrid option, this was the same problem with the hot cues (all slightly offset).
Thanks again for any support

Is anybody from the MixVibes team available to answer this question? Because I'm really interested in purchasing the full license, and this is the only thing holding me back.
I'm sure I can't be the only one who's experienced this. There must be a solution for all my imported beatgrids being off by the exact same amount.
