Cross DJ

Postby audiotech520 on 03 Apr 2013, 19:55

Hi,

I am playing with the Free version of Cross DJ and would like to buy the full version.

I have a pre-sales question: When in auto mode There are some instances I want the next track to start RIGHT WAY when I hit the mix button, though it sometimes takes a sceond or two, since the track is not already loaded in the other player. I also tried using Os for a fade time and still no luck.

Is there a way to have the track start right away?

Thanks,

It should! Analyse doesn't need to be done on the go. Prepare your sets.
What are the specs pf your computer?

As long as your track are analyzed it will work faster.
In autoplay mode, the first track isn't preloaded, but the next one is always.

but the next one is always.

Are you sure about that? When I try using the auto-mix, the song is only loaded into the deck when it is time for the mix to begin. I thought that was just the way it was designed (although i didn't really like it that way). So basically I confirm with the OP, that this is a bit of an issue if you want a 0sec start of your mix.

Yes, I'm sure. If it it is not already analyzed, it will do it before request.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but my auto play doesn't work like that at all. The next track is only loaded into the next deck at the specified transition time. Basically if I set the transition time to 20 secs, the next track is only loaded into the other deck at -20 secs and mix starts instantly.
