Backup, backup, backup !!!
(I have some vinyl rip backup that was... 0 bytes in size )

Do you buy a new HDD for each backup or do you overwrite the old one?

Can you see what happened? when I figured what was wrong, both of my backups were corrupt.

The process was :
- rip vinyls to computer
- export file (cut/paste) to storage
- copy from storage to external drive (or the other way, drive 1st then storage).

The file/folders structure was ok, the folder/tree size too. But when trying to play file, it open and then nothing happened.
0 size files...

So now even for important copy, I use something like Robocopy or a RELIABLE tools for cloning data (no super/ultra/uber/copier), no more OS finder/explorer copy of files that are precious. Never !

thank god for Time Machine on OSX, Bitcasa, and Dropbox. Saved my A$$ quite a few times.

Just a quick message to say that I'm 100% with djphaidon > I dream about multiple custom tags every night !

I use Mediamonkey to do that (thanks to some scripts) but it's not perfect (I can't customize everything like I'd wish http://screencast.com/t/lUVXRwpw).

I'd love that Mixvibes brings that to Cross and I also think you're the guys in the best position to achieve it with the best result.
