Had to look it up. Looks pretty legit actually. Seem to be way more involved in their product than their marketing, because I thought I was up on most of the DJ products out there. Well played sir.

There's LOTS of stuff out there....

First product I used was MP3 Tunes V2. It was designed for DJ'ing and doing shoutcast and icecasting. The casting engine was built right into the software.

I ran that software for a while on a Toshiba Libretto Pentium 133MHz with 64MB of ram on Windows 95. ;)

There's lots of software out there...

Still hoping, and wishing, and hoping, and wishing... for lossless support (and S4 mappings... but I'd be happy with lossless for now so I can at least use my DVS setup to work with Cross and the audio files I have. ;)

(Just didn't want anyone to forget about adding the lossless codec to the app at some point.)

S4 is in the work. No news on the lossless or ETA.

I used traktor since version 0.9 (2002), worked as a beta for 5 years.
The one year use MixVibes (Cross and crossdj), and do not use more traktor to my show, and not as beta.
Mixvibes is large and stable.

About Apple Lossless file support, I believe it is interesting to support this standard, but not for now.

WOOHOO!!!

At least with the S4 I'll be able to start using video with Cross. :D

Then I'll just have to set up the F1's I have to get them working with Cross as well. ;)

I was hoping that adding the Apple Lossless would be pretty quick - just adding in the proper codec. The m4a wrapper is already being read just fine by Cross, the tracks just won't play... :) But it's ok... I know things take time. :D
