Bidirectional knob, mapping

Postby discopex on 07 Feb 2013, 19:42

Hi

Can anyone come up with a simple way of mapping a filter knob (for Reloop Contour). Trouble is, the knob sends different MIDI commands for turning left and right. Gess I need to make two rules for this knob, but if someone can tell me straight away how it's done I'd be grateful.

A very often suggested idea is to have a look in other mappings how it is solved in there. I have mapped too less in my life to tell you how it might work - sry!

Cheers,
A plus,
Steve

You'll have to map it twice, using the range function inside the mapping to correspond to the range for each side.
