If I understand what you want, it's some kind of sequencing, by firering locators/samples in an order to remix live.
Never seen such a behavior, only on samplers, MPC, or Ableton Live but not directly into the DJ world.

Because I am not using the sampler.

Just the locator to trigger without having to hold the play button down first. So that when I do load the song and hit the locator. It plays instantly. If it hit the locator again, it plays that part of the song again.

Hi all,

i just noticed a very strange behavoir:
I dont know really how, double klicked the locators or so,
but now if i klick on a locator it keeps playing
before it had act like djdecka said...
loaded a other track: same playing behaivor.
double klicked locators again and again:
after a while-> old stop behaivor after locator jumps...
it seems there is something buggy?

after a looong trial and error session i "disenchanted" it
i couldt reproduce it everytime. it works also in 2.2:
-load a track
-enable quantization
-play track
-stop track
-hit a sampler pad to create a sample
-make sure sampler link is active
-now hit locator -> tracks jump to locator and keeps playing
-created sample can be unloaded. is not needed anymore
-as long as sampler link is enabled->"locator play mode" on
if you turn link off -> "locator play mode" off.

- quantize on
- start sampler clock (even if empty)
- activate link with player
Now locators will acts like you said.
