I love CrossDJ 2.2 but I'm missing the "Loop Roll" (individual loop mapping) and the individual effect mapping... So, I think the next version Is not ready for me yet

I would love to assign different FX values on pads, too. It may be already achievable by custom mapping, which i don't know of yet. echey wrote:Sure !!!!!! I did look at: Loop Halve Loop Double Where you only use two pads one for decrease and another for increase,
but that's not my way, I like to jump directly to any loop length, you know, use many pads... About the effects, the same, by browser...

I already answered you about these direct access : simply map them. Cinq : custom needs = custom work.

I PM-ed him this (personal buttom not not included): I guess you find where you could activate slip mode in Cross 2.3 RC. If not, hower your mouse onto one of the deck-waveforms, and top-left corner there you go.
How to map the loops: YOu can do it with keyboard. Go to Preferences/ Keyboard. If you don't have a third keyboard mapping listed there, click on one of them (PC Laptop one), and click the small [x2] button on the in the lower section on the window, which will create a duplicate version of the mapping, that you can modify.
On the right side in the list choose for example Player 1, and expand it. Than scroll down untill you find "Auto Loop Select and Trigger", and click on the little plus next to it. Now it pops up a window. Press any keyboard key, you want to trigger and auto-loop. Then in the list choose "Direct integer Button", below that then input any value from the following list:
1 - 1/32 beat 2 - 1/16 beat 3 - 1/8 beat 4 - 1/4 beat 5 - 1/2 6 - 1 beat 7 - 2 beats 8 - 4 beats 9 - 8 beats 10 - 16 beats 11 - 32 beats 12 - 1/3 beats 13 - 3/4 beats
This also works with pads, I already tried it.

I'm ok with custom mapping, i can code xml. I'm thinking of ripping and modifying Novation Twitch mapping as I noticed that it has some of functions i want. Could this work? Support@MixVibes wrote: Cinq : custom needs = custom work.

No need to edit XML !!! (only for leds). You can do it all from the UI into Cross.
Open a specific thread for what you're trying to achieve so you could get specific help.
To see what is done into an oem mappings, simply duplicate it (x2), then select the copy and look into the command box what are the values. it is a good starting point to hack existing mappings.
