hi there one im all new to the DVS world
one thing how do i sort out the sound on the Ultimate kit sounds far to bassy
im using window 7 Ultimate and didnt understand the instructions propley any advise would be ace

MY SET UP IS 2 TECHNICS 1210 Vestax PCM06 PROD MIXVIBE Ultimate AND PC RUNING 7 Ultimate WEN I PLAY A TUNE THERE AS HELL OFF A LOT OF BASS MY EQ IS SET TO MIDDLE AS NORMAL WAT IM ASKING IS THERE ANY THINK IN THE SETTING I CAN CHANGE AS IM USED TO USEING VINYL ALL THE TIME SOFTWARE AINT MY STRONG POINT IF THERES ANY OVER INFO YOU NEED LET ME KNOW

haha forgot to take it of anyway i need help geting the sound right as the bass takes over everythink ive tryed all differnt setting adjusting my volume in windows but no look some help please wen i play i track it seems to be more bass than anythink also music comes though but the input lights dont flash i really wanna get into this DVS lark but the bad sound is puting me off if anyone can help would be ace

Ok ..have you try'ed to turn the mid's and low's down in the software...the old 06 pro has a 2 band EQ ( HI LOW )., mixvibes DVS has a 3 band EQ ( hi , mid and low )...so the mids and lows in the software might be coming in to hot for the mixer

yh tryed that and ive got the sound ok now but had to turn my hi end up to max just sounds so drome and dont think it meant to be like that

ok that dont sound good...
lets just see if you have set it up right ...from your 1200,s rca outputs (left turntable out-puts 1 and 2 + right turntable outputs 3 and 4 ) .., into the input (1,2,3 and 4) on the U-Mix 44 ( swich to phono pre-app{ not line}.. the outputs on the U-Mix 44 go to the line inputs on your 06 pro mixer (not the phono inputs ).., swich mixer to line on both mixers channels ...for ground cables from your turntables ...you can ground to your mixer but its better to ground to the sound card if you can...
can you do a CONFIG REPORT ...with both the turntables running ,with the turntables pitch set on both to 0% and post here so I can see how you have the DVS software setup
