Hey folks, after the elemination of three offers for Technics turntables I am sick off diggin deep into the net to find some for a reasonable price and condition. Therefore I am thinking about getting Numark TT500. I can get a very good offer for two of them including catridges, needles and a mixer - new. Who has got experience with those turntables? Anyone? I know the team is using TT500 on conventions so they cannot be bad Any information is much apreciated, good or bad - Thank you very much!

we have one in the DJ school me and my friends have set up.
basicly the tt500 are the same as the TTX 1 with out the digital stuff....nice to mix on ..and nice to scratch on...when you buy them new you get a curve tone-arm and a str8 tone arm...
one thing I do like is ,you can change the pitch fader from left to right to up and down when you put the turntable is battle position
one thing I dont like is the RCA out-put & earth post are on the bottom of the turntable and can be hard to get at

Yes, daniel, I saw that. I am not asking for specs, more for experience, durability and handling, but thank you for your efforts! @wazza: thank you very much for your input! Looks good to me, even the RCA placement is no problem for me. The are for home use only, once connected it will be connected that way for months

[quote="j-kut"But If I were you, I´d go for some Vestax PdDXs: no skipping, higher pitch-resolution (I think 0.02%) and better access to spares.[/quote]
Regarding the resolution: is this true for any PDX or "just" for the PDX 2300 MK2? Will have a look at it now, but if anyone knows the solution feel free to post in here - cheers!
Edit: did not find any information about it. There is an Ultra Pitch - I thought it is for a more detailled pitch, but from Youtube videos it seems that it is something like +/-100%?!?! True?
I have heard that there are a lot of TTs with "digital pitch" which means that they have got a bad pitch resolution. It seems as if only the Technics with their analog pitch hasn't got this resolution.
PDX3000 MK2 look good - still in stock at different stores.

The pitch resolution on the PDX 2300 mk 2 is not higher resolution It's only 00.0 not 00.00...
But still very accurate with no pitch drifted ...and the joystick for pitch blending is dope
The only TT with high resolution is the Vestax PDX 3000 mk2 Love my 3000

Given the option.... I'd likely go for a Stanton T62. http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-STA-T62B-LISTI've heard good things about this lineup of turntables, but owning Technics, don't own one myself. I do have a Gemini PT-2000 as a spare and it's about as close of a knock off of the Tech 1200 as you can get without being sued.
