WOW.... (Cross Video Plugin)

Just ordered some time code off Amazon (3 pieces to be exact - the limit on the one I ordered)... and now I just need to figure out what I 'need' for audio routing and what I can get away with mapping to MIDI on the DDM4000...

I'm thinking I may be able to do most everything right off the turntables, DDM4000, Dicers, and maybe a trigger finger - but we'll see.

Still working my way through analyzing my library... Lots of work ahead of me...

For your audio routing ...you will have to use the sound card ( 2 turntables to the sounds cards input 1 & 2 ...and the output 1 to you amp & output 2 for your headphones on your sound card )
And set mixvibes Cross to internal mixer mode

Because the DDm 4000 will do audio or MIDI ...but not audio and MIDI together

You will have to MIDI map the line faders as well as the crossfader

Yep - already done.

I'm actually using channel one for output 1/2 from the sound card, and channel 4 for output 3/4 from the sound card (cue).

Channels 2/3 are mapped to the software as well as the crossfader section. Well, mapped and I already have feedback LED's in the crossfader section (I used that for kills), and just mapped for the channel strips.

I'm toying with the idea of using the sampler section but I'm not 100% on how I'm going to use that most effectively.

Still have P1-P3 to map - I currently have them mapped to load audio/video using the mode button to determine which but that will likely change tonight as I work with it more.

Once I'm done I may post the mapping if anyone is interested...

I initially set up the sampler dial to select the video transition - but like I said, I'm not 100% I'm going to use it yet.
