Help: iDJ3 controller and macbook pro..not working properly

if you look at ythe posting at the bottom is a tab for attachnents ,,that how you can get it to the posting

At the bottom of the post there's an option to upload attachment. Click on that, 'Choose File' and then 'Add the file'. Once it's uploaded, you have the option of placing it inline.

note no options for chanel 3/4
also note that idj3 i green and recognized but MIDI is "offline"

If you go to:

Applications
Utilities
Audio MIDI Setup.app

Does the iDJ3 show up as an audio device?


What about in:
Preferences
Sound
Output

Does it show there?

There's something not quite right.

Can you remove and reinstall the driver? For some reason the operating system isn't seeing the audio device.

I'm hoping someone with more experience with the iDJ3 hops in here, but it really does look like a driver issue to me.

I know that I had some driver issues on other products after installing OS X 10.7 because there was a major change to the OS.

I've uninstalled the driver already and reinstalled it. I've installed it from the cd that came with the IDJ3 which i purchased a few years back. I also then deleted that one and installed straight from Numark's website... I'm just puzzled, driver is operating and picking up the IDJ3 but its not reading as a MIDI controller nor can i manually add it because it doesn't see t as one. the IDJ3 has built in sound card so it should pick up. never had this problem with Cross le or my Imac but the macbook pro is giving me problems.. running osx version 10.8.2 literally brand new computer bought it sunday afternoon.

Check the search tab for idj3 for related topic postings ,,,remember something when they first came out,,,not familiar with the hardware nor the mac o/s will search also
