[solved] Cant post in technical forum?

Postby loudsubz on 11 Dec 2012, 19:16

I get an error when trying to reply or post a new topic in Cross technical.

I searched for an answer but didn't see anything. Is this normal?

Just making sure... but you did put a serial number into your user profile to register, right?

I'm guessing you did, but it's always nice to be sure.

What browser and OS are you using? With that info we may be able to give more specific assistance. :D

Just checked my profile, I have the serial copied and pasted right from the email I received, and its on the first line in that box.

I am posting this from a work desktop with IE8 and same thing, I have never logged in before from this machine, so its definately something on the board.

PM, UncleVibes with a link to this thread.

He'll be able to look into your forum permissions and see if there is any problems.

no luck :(

I only see the "New Topic" and "Post Reply" in this forum.

I think you just went to a wrong location:
What is the header of the forum where you have no access? Is it this one Board index ‹ SUPPORT (ENGLISH) ‹ Cross ‹ Cross Technical support at this page : viewforum.php?f=358
Your message Anyone running an Xponent with CrossDJ? is there: viewtopic.php?f=358&t=26120 Can you see it?

I think you are only in Cross folder but not on the subforum that's why you can't see. Cross folder contains 4 forums you can see them header of page Cross when you come from the index

working now. Not sure what was happening. I was going to the right spot as I went to go reply to my original post that was moved but I didn't see the reply button. I see it now so whatever it was is working again.

thanks for your time UncleVibes
