After the sampler feature for me, 8 locators are more than enough. But, if the additional banks won't affect software stability then it would be fine by me.

But should this really be the reason not to add a feature?

 yes :!:
hate to say that ,, but when first started using Cross ,ver 1.25 ,which was a demo,,no problem ,even with running all background services, used as a benchmark for all the updated versions ,,as they progessed this became less and less possibile,,thus renderening the software unusable to my system,,,understand that this shouldnt be used like this in a proffesional manner,,but the software shouldnt shut the door to users just starting out with mixvibes because of streagnth of their system,, just my thoughts
