Into Rekordbox, colors ARE groups. We can do a colors -> groups + colors conversion if wished.

Hi djphaidon,
I do not quite understand your last sentence, do you ask for a way to correct tags from Cross when importing same track from Rekordbox ?
If this is the case, yes there is a way, since Cross ask you if you want to load tags from the third party database you are trying to import.

Yes, very similar to what I was asking. Basically, I use iTunes to tag/prelisten/and categorize my tracks. because Cross has smart playlists, I could essentially do the same thing in Cross, however, if I update a tag in Cross, the change doesn't follow to iTunes when using AIFF because that is the only lossless file that is supported by both Cross and iTunes at the moment.
What I was wondering is if there is a way to have rekordbox act as my tagging/preslistening/labeling program similar to how I currently use iTunes, and have Cross be the DJ program. The requirement is that all changes made in one program, will follow to the other and visa versa.
Example. I'm going through my tracks and labeling them a certain way in rekordbox so that when I import them they show up in smart playlists in Cross, similar to the way I label and tag tracks in iTunes that show up in Cross as changed. Then, I am playing a show that night, and I decide that I want to add another label to a track. So I add the label, and close out the program. The next time I open rekordbox, the change should have followed into rekordbox that way each program is seeing the exact same "track data" as the other.
This prevents having to tag in multiple places which is currently the worst thing about file management in every other DJ software. Everyone has iTunes integration, however, none of the changes actually make it back to iTunes for further refinement. Rekordbox works great for library management, but only if you are using it on devices that can't modify tags, like cdj's.

You need to have the other application to reload the tags, it won't do it automatically. I mean, if an application had to reload every tags at launch to refresh them it will take a lot of time at each launch.
So basically it can actually work within Cross/iTunes/Rekorbox : - set each software to write into tags - when opening one, ask it to reload all tags

Not sure I understood : - you want to change the xml that Cross is reading from - now you want Cross to write into a xml...
What are you trying to do ? Reading the Cross collection from Rekordbox ? Not possible.
All 3 softwares are based on tags, so you need to reload the tags each time you have write into them from the software you're using. If not tags won't be updated.
