Quality of manufacture

This topic reminds me that I've got to investigate something loose in one of my active bass speakers. Luckily, they are proper pa speakers and are meant to take a bit of 'wear and tear' so I'm confident that it's something minor. I just notice a 'rattle' when moving them about.

The thought of it takes me back to my first set of pa speakers that I built myself - that was fun, but 10 times more work than I expected - electronics I can do, but the carpentry and woodwork was a nightmare!

As for grassroots Sunday... not for me - I'm cooking the Sunday dinner and looking after little 'DJ junior'!

got a little bit of music back in my blood now, plan on just using the smaller ar's not connected to the powered sub/Cross over,,when replacing the speaker elements a couple of years ago i went with a heavier magnetic.and foam cone speaker for replacement,,they will stand the strain till i get the sub repaired ,

still stiting on a solution ,,,issues with setting up system,,computer 20 ft more away from the stero system, issues with getting the hedmi to tv , then lighting struck, got flat screen and blueray dvd player,..,, the extra 20ft of rca cable has put hum in the output of U-Mix, probly bad connection on rca splices, $300 dollars to fix tv ,,45"flat screen, ,,gonna buy a newer /bigger one ,cheeper than before 4 years ago,, get other one fixed for the bedroom, and fianly plan on getting amp serviced and sub fixed,,, soooo just waiting for everthing to come in to play
