I suppose no big deal if you have a Facebook account,Not that i use mine much exept for being nosey or such things to do with my music, they get none of my personal info,as always a way to get you on one data base or another. If you dont have a Facebook, i tell you what i shall open one just for you and call it,That bloody b********* Facebook if that will make you happy, although first i will need your bank account and sort code

It is hard to look for an aspect to begin with...First of all I want to thank you for letting me (us) know that the poll has already begun. I was voting years back, but stopped some day because it is nothing else but a huge data kraken. I thought that DJ Mag is doing this for the scene, but I realized that they are doing it for their own benefit. Nothing to blame from my side, but not my cup of tea! Let's get to Facebook. You can say that there is a general dislike. I have read some books about Facebook, starting in the beginning and how it grew up to data security and stuff like that nowadays. In addition to that Facebook does the same as DJ Mag: all for their own benefit! They do not want to connect the world and brigning people together, they want to build a huge commercial platform they can profit from. All in all I do not see any point to get an account there. Not even a fake account or, as yours, a less used account. Companies in general want and need our data, and data is more than just what you are writing and giving away! (Don't want to go into detail, I guess you have no clue how deep the rabbit hole is. If so and you have proven me wrong, I apoligize!). And from all this I think you can understand why I reacted the way I did It was not my intention to blame you for anything!!! Cheers, Steve

I don't Facebook on my own. I dislike to fill days after days my own KGB /CIA /and global states police files. Let save their jobs like in supermarket don't accept casher robots. Of course when you are addict it's too late. For me addict of my credit card and my smartphone it's enough easy to trace me.

No I do understand, and iam well aware of how deep the rabit hole goes, Money and power and control etc, I have to tell the mrs off about the info she puts out, but most do not listen and think its all Conspiracy theory and nothing more, but its as you say and really obvioiuse to some one with a brain or good buissness knowledge, Its even down to programms like that world of warcraft my duaghter plays, it makes me sick and on edge with her using it.
But sadley a musician has to use these database's to their advantage, which can be a good thing, loose contact with the poeple and their is no hope this day and age in making it without anything else to your advantage or up your sleeve. I hate all this, but all i can do is take as much care as i can, setup accounts with and email registered via multiple others emails before hand,Not that i have anything to offer by way of data, i am a nobody with nothing to give them, and Sod the third partie agreements, and read all forms cryptic checkboxes lol, it is quite sick as a lot of Forms now insist on Home telephone numbers and postcodes you just can not evade even putting an add on the loot fre adds paper, but i always give our old number no longer in use and a address and postcode that does not quite add up, but enough to fool.
Anyhow i hear you!!! and every day i cringe worring about info the rest of my familly are nieve enough to be giving away, they have more info to loose than this Jobless nobody. Mission impossible really is it not, just being online can lead to hacking and pinging of Ip address and Hidden service provider data etc, At least my mrs understands now about the need for multiple bank accounts and more than one mobile/sim.
