Time not displaying correctly in transport

Postby superdj4life on 09 Apr 2012, 00:36

Everything worked fine last night. when i load a song, doesn't matter what song, new to database, or already in it the time displayed is always 2 to 3 times the actual length of the song. I've included a screenshot, and config report

I've also tried resetting MV from the folder, as well as reinstalling the software and updates. the error occurs with just the base MV6(6.282) from CD installed. I've also done a system restore thinking it may have been as update causing the issue.

yeah, that was horrible troubleshooting help I know  sorry about that. after a few days of trying to work through it and trying everything (reset.exe from MV install folder, uninstall re-install from disc, uninstall/re-install asio driver) I discovered it was mediabase corruption. thankfully DVS keeps backup in a hidden file named (YOURFILENAME).VIB.bak so I was able to recover from the it (if you have to do this make sure you create a new copy of the backup!!!).

Does anyone know if there is a maximum number of entires the mixvibes DVS .vib file can handle?
