Nervous? - YEAH!

I did a gig tonight at my local pub tonight, and wasn't nervous at all - mainly because I know everyone. Oh it was so much fun! The pub only gets about 100 people in the room, but by 10pm they've had a few drinks and the atmosphere is just brilliant! They were singing and dancing - and I wasn't nervous at all!

Just goes to prove - sometimes a gig for £50, with 100 people, can be better than a gig for 500 people, for £500. Money is not everything. I never got into this for the money - just for the fun!

When I had my first full night appearance, on 28th, feb, I was nervous like hell. But being there before open, talking to the bartender guys, and starting a bottle of beer, helped me.
My most worry was: "If my laptop crashes... I mingh throw myself on a sword "

I'm usually okay once I get to the event and start playing - it's just in the hours before that I get nervous. Sitting at home just waiting to leave...

Standing in the booth, waiting for the Security guy to open front door, which is a sign to me to press Play.
In these spare times, I usually mix for myself in the headphones Just to chill up.

I like that approach, I usually scratched until poeple came to relax (mind and fingers ) or until the boss told me to stop

If you start playing Crysis 2 midset, that must be a sh*t party, so I don't think that playing music matters anyway At least you enjoy yourself

you must have a killer laptop to run Crysis 2!!

Then again, I've tested my laptop with a few Steam games (HL2 and Portal 2) and they run great!
