I know and on the floor the speakers can't do the best job. The best way is to put them on a stand above so they can play over the crowed
. I can say from a few parties at my first start of mobile DJ I had the same problem that I had to setup the speakers behind me and it was too loud for me so I bought this ear protectors.

also when running the speakers in front of one (when loud it is also loud behind the speakers
