Downloads/Updates etc.

I feel a little foolish here as this is probably going to sound like a really silly question.

Sometimes when I log into the forum, I get a pop-up window saying that new downloads have been added. Whrn I click on it it takes me to the downloads page, but I can't seem to find out exactly what has been added to the section?

Can anyone help me with this silly question, as I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious?

Hey,

this is an generall message when something is uploaded to the download section. So it could be a download for you or not, depends on what software you have registered and so on.

So for example some of the DEV team upload a new update for Vfx which you not have so you will not see the new download.

I understabd that, but it's so difficult to identify exactly what has changed or been added!

I just get to the downloads page and cannot see what is new!

havent experienced the pop up, most of the updates have been announced and general pm posted,,,what to check is the version you have against what updates are avaible,i now you realize that they are numerical and in progerssion, not to worry when you see the next update for Cross everone will be sending off fire works maybe unc has a brief explanation as to he oversee the general operation of the fourm

Hey,

Sure when a new version of the program you have bought is Availabe at the download section you get an message from the dev team.

But you can also when you get this pop up go to the download section there is a link called check for new downloads or equal (I don't know how exactly it is named because I got this message in German)
Then you get an overview to all download folders with date time so you can see is it for you or not check the date which is newest and see for which category it is.

Well! I think this mysteri is solved for me. I was also kept scracting my head what new stuff was added...

The last updates were about MIDI files. I always gets a pop up window. Just look at the last date that each section has. Daniel please check if your browser has disable the pop up windows.

yes ment to add that to the posting ,just waking up and coffie hasnt kicked in try to keep as much security on web as possible loss of a comp/hard drive will do that to you
