Hi erveryone, thanks for your seggestions and remarks. I try to answer to all of you :
"I dont understand either why you not just straight import your tracks into Cross."
Answer : Some tracks are several times on my hard disk (from several CD's), some tracks (ripped froms CD's) shouldn't be in the collection, ... I only want the tracks that were in my Producer 7.4 database.
Reanalysation is no option?
Answer : No, only 'Relocate' works, but I don't think this is a serious option with many thousands of tracks to relocate...
The bug if bug must be in the converter files and not in Cross general use...
Answer : It is very clear bug in Cross and has nothing to do with Producer 7.4. Just follow these steps :
1. I import file 'C:\Users\Stéphan\Music\60's\Kingsmen - Louie Louie.mp3' into the collection : OK, it works
2. I put this track into a new playlist called 'Test'.
3. I export this playlist into 'Test.m3u'. The file is perfect : 'C:\Users\Stéphan\Music\60's\Kingsmen - Louie Louie.mp3' is visible in Test.m3u when I read it with e.g. Notepad.
4. I delete the 'Test'-playlist in Cross.
5. I import the playlist 'Test.m3u' again.
6. It shows me Kingsmen - Louie Louie as 'missing track'. When I try to 'resolve all missing tracks', I see in the dialog
'C:\Users\St phan\Music\60's\Kingsmen - Louie Louie.mp3'.
So the 'é' is missing! Importing playlists doens't seem to work with accents. And I have dozens of playlists from Producer 7.4 that I want to import....
