iDJ3 and Cross 1.7.1

Postby Sheavel on 20 Dec 2011, 21:36

So, I have a Numark iDJ3 and I just want to know if I get to upgrade from my iDJ3 edition of Cross(1.3.4 or something) to the 1.7 version for free, if I do how do I go about it...?

You can't upgrade to the latest version of Cross (1.7.1) for free.

However there is a special upgrade price for Cross and CrossDJ

Hi All,

I'm new to Cross 1.7, which I just purchased and installed with my IDJ3. I have two quick questions:
1- How do I know if I have the 1.7.1 version ? When starting Cross I'm getting a message saying there is a new version but I can't find it on the website link provided.

2- I just alluded to my second question: Where do I find the 1.7.1 version if I need to upgrade ?

Thanks!

Hey,

First off all you have to register your serial here at the forum under your personal profil at the serial section. This allows you to download content from the forums download page (where the new versions are stored) and us to give you support.

If you have the same license group like the one above you can use Jim B link to upgrade to the full license of Cross or Cross DJ for a special price.
This allows you to update to all next versions and I can say we will see some nice new features this year

Regards
Christian

I am so lost, I have an IDJ3 and idk how to register the serial number or whatever, I was using it for a while and it randomly just stays on now, and it wont go off, or work with the program it came with, all of my drivers were recently updated, is it because i need to update to 1.7.1? Or is there something else wrong? please help, thank you.

Its funny you say that because i just used Idj3 last night, a friend of mine brought it over and we used it with Cross 1.7.1 and it works good. im not sure if its because of your settings on the MIDI section of your program. You might have to play around with the settings. I know IDJ3 comes with Virtual DJ but its the simple version for the controller. we were having a blast with it. registering your program is simple on your profile page there is a section where you type in what equipment you have. there is a part where you type in the Serial # it comes with. once you put that in there you are registered.
