Have you thought of a driver issue? To me distorted sound, if it is not analog noise" refers often to driver issues. Which Cross version are you testing? I could read j-kut's thread in which he describes similar issues but he is on a Mac (maybe it is not OS related?!).

The driver is fine. The sound is distored because it is too high level for the input. And it could'nt be a driver problem also, because with TC vynils it is just fine.

I'll definitely get my own Cross. I'll upgrade my Home 7.
