U-Mix Remote App Feedback

Hey MixVibes,

I want to say that your U-Mix Remote App is a very nice feature. I bought it today and I'm currently at an little party where I test it with my iPad. I can currently say the following things:
1. The iPad is connected very fast with my laptop (windows system) and the app is realy quick connected to the computer (I had to disable the firewall completely but then it works directly.)

2. The app is realy intuitiv and all the buttons are big enough to control them. I currently use the landscape skin. There I have all the commands I need.

3. I thought the network traffic will be more than I currently monitored. At 50 minutes of usage I have currently round 2MB send and 0,8MB received. (at the computer)

4. It works very stable but I don't know at the first start before the party I had an crash at the iPad App. I was scratching on both decks at the same time. (It was the first an only crash currently). I will update this post tomorrow after the party.

5. The battery usage is perfect and minimal . While playing I had 6% lost of the battery which is not as much like when I play some games with it .

But One big point but it could be a reason of my big database. When I select a song it takes up to 8seconds of freezed screen. The sound is working normal but the hole screen stands and I got an waiting courser. The funning thing is that the iPad app is standing then too (not completly but the VU meters at the mixer are not working as long the main frame at the computer is not running).

So keep up the good work.

laptop (i5 2,4GHz, 4GB memory (ddr3-1333Mhz)) / Tower PC C2D 3GHz - 8GB Memory
iPad2 32GB
Cross DJ 1.6.1

Thanks Jim B. Now my update :

The app is mostly stable for a party . It runs more than 8 hours and I had no crash. The funniest thing was that I used it all the time. I don't touched any of my MIDI controlers, only with the iPad App. So the usability is very nice and now I have the got the knack .

One funny thing was that I went to the Bar to get some drings and take the iPad with me and controlled the software from there. (used the VU meters from channel 1 and 2 to get the beat sync)
One guest asked me what I'm doing and I said that I mix the next song with this nice program. He wanted to know from which vendor it comes and I told him that it was MixVibes and also the programs which I use at my laptop are from you. He want to buy it know too so maybee we will see him in a few weeks here too .
