i've had pretty good success with mapping the dicers.
i'm using the 3 modes (red, green, orange)
red - all effects buttons 1,2, each have 2 different effects each (normal and shift mode) button 3 is the effect on off and 4, 5 move the beat parameter in the effects +, -
green - vinyl mode and looping 1, vinyl mode 2 blank(to prevent accidently turning on a loop) 3 activate loop 4,5 set loop length 1/64 - 16 beats
orange 1, 2 cycle the entire effect list up or down. 3 activates effects 4,5 are dual mapped. normal mode will move the effect volume in increments of .10 while holding shift will give you +100 or -100 instantly (like a kill switch)
I'll admit the mapping isn't perfect and there's a lot of unused buttons. but for what I needed it works well. in the future i'd like to redo the mappings and add some simple sampler functions (send, play, play mode)
1. you NEED the excel file they're talking about as many of the parameters don't auto map correctly and you'll need to set them yourself. what i ended up doing is using the auto learn feature to learn the buttons CC NOTE then going in and manually assigning the command and parameters myself. without the excel sheet this will take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.
2. I've had some success with getting the lights to function properly but didn't need them and gave up. i'm sure with enough patience it's possible to get them running right.
if it helps shoot me a pm and i'll send/upload my dicer .ini file for you to have a look at
