Problem with U-MIX44 and Cross

Postby zanderdanmark on 23 Aug 2011, 16:42

I know they might not be meant to mixed up together but it would be awesome to have this fixed. Although if you know any other alternative which doesnt require me to buy a new soundcard, like using VirtualDJ instead or whatever, that would also be awesome.
So the main thing is that Cross DJ only recieves something from my turntable when the crossfader is faded to the channel of the turntable. When it is not, it shows up in Cross like it isnt plugged in.
I will post a video of my problem later.
That pretty much sums up everything. I hope to find a conclusion for this

Regards.

Hey,

are you using Cross, Cross DJ or DVS? You have wrote that your sound is only comming throug the mixer when the fader is set to the deck which is playing.

When you register your serial at the forum you can also download the newest version of Cross (DJ). The newest version is 1.6.

Maybe this will fix your problem?
Otherwise some more technical aspects of how you set your audio at Cross and how do you connected your Soundcard to the mixer and so on would be helpful for us.

Regards
Christian

Hey,

it would be nice when you also insert your serials for Cross and Cross DJ.

To your problem: It looks like you have connected the tt to the mixer and the output of the mixer to the soundcard? if this is your setup everything is wrong.... TT output to the input of your soundcard( U-Mix44 or the one from the U-Mix Control Pro which stands besides the mixer) and the output of the soundcard to your mixer.

Then it should work. And how do you mapped your soundsettings? Screenshot of DVSor Cross.

VDJ we can give no support there you should go to the forum of VDJ.

And if you have keys for Cross DJ and also Cross please register them here otherwise we can only help you out with DVS. FORUM RULES -- only support when software is registered!
And if you have them registered here you have the posibility if you lost your cd sleevs the the CD key you can look at your profil.

regards
Christian

This is a configuration issue in Cross.
But please register it to get help.

Certainly you have similar configuration issues with the other apps you use...
