hello. my name is john or DJ jp. I have had mixvibes Cross for 3 years, and my old computer crashed. so i recently put it on my new computer and it feels totally different. not sure what settings i had it on before. I am using it for Pioneer cdjs. I have the "audio preferences" set to buffer size 520 samples which i think is standard. everything works and what not but it feels too sensitive when moving the jog wheel. any suggestions?? I am pretty sure it has to do with the "general preferences". having to do with the FINE PITCH, NORMAL PITCH, AND COARSE PITCH Bend percentages. I cant figure it out... What does each of the 3 do exactly? and if i didnt want it to be so sensitive how would i do that?? Right now the Fine pitch is 3% Normal pitch is 3% and Coarse pitch bend is 6%.
Can you tell me some good settings and what i can do to stop making the jogwheel so sensitive? and explain what each one does?
PLEASE HELP! and Sorry so long, i am new to the whole forum thing. THANK YOU AND PLEASE HELP!!!

Could you please enter your serial number for your version of Cross. User Control Panel > Profile ucp.php?i=169Once this is done, your should be able to update and download the latest version of Cross, (which is now 1.6) from your Download centre downloads.php

If you are using Pioneer CDJs in timecode mode then the percent values are totally unusable for your. The values in % are for using MIDI controllers. When you pitch bend with a MIDI controller it is a matter of how long (and if the buttons are touch sensitive how hard) you push the button. The longer you push it will bend "harder". In timecode mode Cross is working with the information provided by the timecode of your CDJs. Maybe you get back to the sensitivity you are used to if you increase the buffer size - I am not sure.
Cheers,
Steve
