To everybody.
It was taking a long time to plan to switch over to Cross Software. But after visiting Musikmesse Frankfurt, my plan fas fix to change my hole System. My impression ares so hot that i was getting my Cross so fast as Possible after the Show. In beginning of my Set up of the Software, there was a lot of new questions between DVS and Cross. I was thinking how i can handle Cross as DVS and what will be the different for me to use this Software in a Life Set. But even i was working day by day i was learning new function and also new features that i was love them more and more. So i was getting my Set up new. Before i was Using a Stanton SCS 3D Controller. And in this Point U-Mix Control 2 is totally different. I love my Set up now. because:
I can use TT and Controller together. You can Start in the TT Modus your Song , than you can pitch him by your TT and together with your U-Mix Controller. So you can use both. This is fantastic. Also in beginning i was seen my Problem how i can handle my situation when my needle is dirty and i have to clean it at the time when the Mp3 is running. Ok there is your Hybrid Modus. You switch over and than you can take off your Needle from the Timcode. But i was remember that i had an option that i can use my Mp3s to start them with the Controller together. So i find out that when you be at the Hybrid Modus and your Needle is not on the Timecode, you can start your Song by pressing the Hybrid button a second time. I say wow he this is working. So i was mapping now the Vinyl / Cd Button for my as my Hybrid Modus to take of my Timcodes without using the keyboard of my Laptop. In the time if you will play in the TT Mode your Play and Pause Buttons on the Controller are not in Use. So i was copy my mapping of my Controller that i can remap it and was map the Hybrid modus up to my play Pause Button. So now i i will load a Song i can start my Songs in TT Mode also with my Controller. And this was the last thing i was missed for my Set up. I was playing now more than 2 Month with Cross 1.6 and i makes so much fun. I like the option to create my own Playlist. Also the Prepare List is fantastic when i plan a set for different Styles. I was finding now also an great Software that allowed me to resize my Art Work to 500x500 Pixels ( see my Thread here in the Forum) because over this Size Cross will not displayed the Artwork. Also in combination to my Audio 8 i have so many Sound Space up to max that it is incredible what it makes different to DVS 7. I love DVS 7 its a great Program and very stable. But for now Cross is a amazing Software with lot of cool features. And the Sound is Burning also together with The U - Mix Control 2 and Pro you have an fantastic DJ set Up for any kind of playing Style.
I my opinion i can say you can buy this Software to 100% and you will have in such a Price-level i high class product with all what you will need as an DJ. And the Time will see us new Updates that will make Croos more complex with out getting confused in point of Set up. This is the work of a fantastic Mixvibes Team and all users that was following Mixvibes for so a long time.
