mixvibes pro 7.2 installing problem

hi!
I already set windows xp as recommended to get better performances, I installed mixvibes pro 7.2 (also the u46mk2 drivers inside the package) but when I run the programme to mix, an error messege pops out saying "wrong serial number", wich is weird 'cuz I didn' insert no number at all...does somebody know how to fix this?

Hey,

I have first a question Why are you creating those many threads? You have created this thread two times (the other viewtopic.php?f=268&t=20999 ) but I only answer in one of them .

So from what media do you have installed MV Pro 7.2? from the CD or do you downloaded the update here at the forum and installed this one? If so you have to install first the old version from the CD (there you have to insert your serial) and after that you can install the update.

I already post this question in an other tread (the one turntable problem) but I thought it was a different kind of problem so I open an other tread..I downloaded MV 7.2 from the website but the previews media I had it from the cd when I bought the DVS pack but my serial number used to work regularly...

So you installed first MV from the CD and after that the Update? Right? is the key working when using the old version from the CD?

At the forum you are registered at DVS 7 user so the latest update is the 7.218 or when you want to install the RC (which is mostly stable) the 7.4 version. Maybe you could test the RC if it is there working?

I installed at first the version from the cd of mv pro then I downloaded 7.2 version but wrong serial number error pops out..I
also set up in windows 7 I downloaded the last version of u46 drivers I installed mv 7.2 but still the same wrong serial number error message pops out....I fon't know what to do

What happens with 7.4? still the same? And when is the wrong serial popping up? directly at the installing or at the first start of MV DVS?

considering that 7.2 didn't work I didn't try 7.4..the error message pops out when I run mv 7.2

You said that you installed Mixvibes Pro? Mixvibes Pro became the "Producer" so you have to download and install updates for Producer and not for DVS.

...but it seems you registred with DVS serial and not with "Producer".

I have mixvibes Producer 7.043, sorry if I'didn't explain myself proper..well there are just DVS updates so wich version do I have to download to update to 7.2?...and where do I find it?
